One of the best ways to mix and minglewith the Maltese people is when they have their village feast in Malta. Every town and village holds this festive weekend yearly in honour of their patron saint and you will find a mixture of folklore and religion together with the merriment that the locals always provide. A detailed explanation from our guide regarding the parish church and celebrations will climax when the statue of the patron saint, accompanied by the village band, is brought back into the church. In this great spectacle you will see the specially decorated church and streets, together with fairy lights and statues that adorn the festive area, all this culminates with the fantastic aerial fireworks display that brings this feast to an end.
